Hi Im Libby Powell I am I proud full time mum & WBFF bikini Pro!
I’ve always loved going to the gym since as long as I can remember but I lacked knowledge on how to train and eat properly my diet was poor and I would spend hours doing cardio. So I decided to do my first ever competition back in 2012 with ICN placing first in the bikini division. I learnt so much about diet and training and it completely changed my mindset!
Fast forward to 2019 I decided I wanted to compete again this was a goal of mine to step back on stage after having my daughter and see how far I could push myself. I wanted to compete with both IFBB & WBFF to see which federation I enjoyed better. March 2019 i competed at IFBB in the Gold Coast walking away with two second placings so I decided I would go and do Arnold’s. I walked away with a second and third placing.
In May 2019 I competed at the WBFF Gold Coast show for the first time placing 1st in Bikini medium/tall and winning my pro card! I am still in shock that this happened it feels incredibly surreal. It’s so true that when you set your mind to something and believe you can, you really can do anything.
After competing with WBFF I completely fell in love and realised this is where I belong. You can achieve anything you want with hard work and time. And I can’t wait to do my first pro show!
My desire to become a fit mum had propelled me to here and to keep pushing forward and influence others to do the same.
