Naomi Glover

My name is Naomi Glover; I am a Bikini competitor in the IFBB Pro League Australia (Amateur tier) and I’m also a Personal Trainer based out of the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland!

Truth is I haven’t always been fit & healthy! Growing up I suffered from extremely low selfesteem, I developed a very unhealthy approach to eating and had a negative view on myself. It was only in 2013 that I decided something needed to change. Although hard at first I found a passion for exercise and the way it made me feel! I felt a sense of empowerment and my view on myself started to change with my lifestyle. Wanting to show other young females that they too can feel strong, beautiful & empowered through training - I went on to study to become a personal trainer.

In 2015 I set a goal to compete in a Bodybuilding competition – not knowing how much it would go on to change my life! Competing in the Bikini division of the IFBB I won my Queensland Title & went on to win my Australian title that same year. With the whirlwind that was the next 4 years I competed in back to back shows with the IFBB. With each show, medal & trophy shaping me into the Athlete and person I am today.

While training for the 2018 Australian Titles I suffered a serve stress fracture on my SI Joint (Stress fracture of my hip) & was forced to the sidelines. This injury tested both my physical and mental strength. I was hungrier than ever to get back on stage & the day the doctor told me I could walk again was the day I started my Arnold Classic Australia 2019 campaign! I was blessed to have the full support from the Glamfit team! We made a comeback to the Stage – placing 3rd at the ACA Qualifier & making it to the prestigious Arnold Classic stage yet again.

Bodybuilding has shaped me into the person I am today. It has also opened me up to a world of opportunity & a world of knowledge. Competing has expanded my knowledge of nutrition, health & exercise.
My goal within the sport is to continue to work towards earning my IFBB Pro Card while pushing my athletic limits & heights in training.
